Music to fill a post-footy void (it’s an Australian thing)

Intro: Roulette - Dom Mariani and the Majestic Kelp, Underwater Casino, 2003.

Can’t Find Love - the Easybeats, from the album Friends, 1969. This version from the collection Absolute Anthology 1965-1969 (Remastered).

Dancing Girl - the Masters Apprentices, from their debut LP, which came out in 1967. This version is from a 2009 Aztec Music compilation titled The Master’s Apprentices.

I Want, Need, Love You - the Black Diamonds, the B-side to their first single, See the Way, 1966. This version from YouTube.

Purple Sneakers - You Am I, from Hi Fi Way, released in 1995.

Handbrake - Tim Rogers and the Bamboos, The Rules of Attraction album, 2002.

Falling Star - Rebecca’s Empire, from their album Way Of All Things, 1996.

(A little mention of Don Cooper and The Smooth Side Of Jazz)

Lost Mind - Rebecca Barnard, from her 2023 album The Night We Called It A Day.

Jettison - Vince Jones, from his 1987 album It All Ends Up In Tears.

So Caught Up - the Teskey Brothers, from their 2019 album Run Home Slow.

I’ll Be Gone - Spectrum, a single from 1971. Band leader Mike Rudd was born in New Zealand but settled in Australia in 1966.

Temperature - Kerri Simpson, from her 2007 album Sun Gonna Shine.

Steps Of Time Kahvas Jute, from their album Wide Open, which came out in 1971.

Paradise Garage - Babe Rainbow, from their EP Fresh As A Head Of Lettuce, a 2023 release.

The Coast - Murder Mouse Blues Band, from their 2009 album Fill The Hole.

Too Much - the Easybeats. I needed a short song and the abrupt ending is how the song finishes, at least on the collection Absolute Anthology 1965-1969 (Remastered). Originally it came out in 1966 on the album Easyfever.

Outro: Snake Bitten, from an album by Baby Langston.
