In this episode, we speak with Kate Scowsmith about a range of mindfulness practices and approaches including forest therapy, the practice of noticing, and the art of gathering.

Kate has a Masters in Social Work from Chico State University, has over six years of experience working as an MSW iin home health, hospice, bereavement work, and disaster case management, and is a certified Forest Therapy guide under the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT). Her academic career includes research on a spectrum of social justice and humanitarian issues, including the impact of trauma, implementation of healing-centered engagement and representation of vulnerable populations. Kate loves to integrate all her skills and experience into the effort of building healthy, sustainable systems in her community.
